Hi Holly, I always encourage my style students to PLAY. I also give them specific challenges and ‘force’ them to try new things. Often that leads to new discoveries.
The other thing that’s happening is actually really common. The brain likes to repeat what it has always done. The brain resists new things because it feels uncomfortable. So you need to learn how to cope with this discomfort while trying something new. This is something I teach in my new program: The Self Confidence Formula. This program is not specifically about style but it teaches you to step outside of your comfort zone so you cant tap into your full potential. More info at https://truepotentialacademy.com/confidence/ Good luck!
